Chona, who has a chain of 65 restaurants across India and a former promoter of Havmor ice cream says he took literally the last flight to leave Ahmedabad for Dubai before lockdown this year. He thought he would stay there for a month and return once his restaurants reopen. Impressed with the handling of Covid situation and good urban infrastructure and facilities for kids, he decided to enrol his sons, aged 7 and 10, in school in Dubai and have it as a base for family for a year.
